Curriculum Development- Based on feedback from students, CLC developed a science curriculum, complemented by presentations from the Philadelphia Zoo and trips to the Academy of Natural Sciences and the New Jersey Aquarium

Student Publications- CLC published its annual Literacy Letter in the spring of 2001, which included many student contributions. CLC also produced its annual Student Book of Writing, 57 individuals contributing pieces
